On 30-31 August 2023, as part of the WAY2GO Project, representatives of partner organisations and experts from Slovenia, Austria, Italy, Portugal, Cyprus and Turkey came together for the second time in the beautiful atmosphere of Stockholm. The meeting lasted for two days with fruitful discussions on the progress and future of the project.

The first day started with a productive session where important details of the project progress were reviewed and future steps for the project were planned. The partners brainstormed on the inclusion status of each country and exchanged ideas on how to improve inclusion through the WAY2GO project. In this session, personal experiences were also shared and interesting and creative suggestions on the next steps to be taken and what needs to be done for the project emerged.

On the second day, EUROPIAMO from Italy organised a knowledge sharing session and gave the partners the opportunity to learn more. The partners identified topics related to the project theme that they would like to share with the group. The selected topics were presented to the group members and then the participants were given the opportunity to ask questions. This session allowed the group members to learn more from each other and explore different areas of knowledge. As our association, with our long years of experience in the field, we gave a presentation to the partners on Deaf culture, sign language and the principles of working with Deaf young people.

The event ended in a very productive way where the participants learnt from each other and shared different perspectives and experiences. The WAY2GO project continues to take steps to increase inclusion while strengthening cooperation between partners.
