The Open Buildings of Europe Project (2023-2-AT01-KA210-VET-000177133) is an innovative project focussing on promoting accessibility and sustainability in buildings, implemented in partnership with our association TGBDER from Turkey, MOVEO from Austria and CED-Romania from Romania under the European Union Erasmus+ Partnerships for Cooperation in the Field of Vocational Training. It aims to equip civil engineers, architects and professionals responsible for managing buildings with specialised skills to create open, accessible spaces for people with disabilities. In line with the principles of non-formal education, the project will develop a publication of accessible architectural solutions and good practices across Europe and a practical toolkit for assessing building accessibility. This initiative emphasises the importance of inclusive design and contributes to making European architecture more open and adaptable to different needs.
